Mi afición por la naturaleza me mantiene en una exploración constante de nuevos senderos. Para ello, suelo montarme en mi vieja pero equipada camioneta, en la que duermo durante las giras, que suelen durar entre cuatro y seis semanas. La mayor ventaja de viajar así es que puedo parar y dormir en cualquier lado, lo que significa despertar en plena naturaleza y en dos minutos estar caminando por alguna vereda. A veces no consigo ni una sola foto, pero casi siempre el paseo vale la pena.


Cuando saco una foto, prefiero tomarla con calma. Admiro a los fotógrafos callejeros que van como vaqueros disparando aquí y allá, captando instantes maravillosos. Yo soy lento. De una foto a otra pueden pasar kilómetros y horas.


Me gusta involucrarme en todos los aspectos relacionados con mi obra. Además de imprimir las fotos, me doy a la tarea de frabricar personalmente los marcos, utilizando nogal y ensamblado tradicional con cuñas.


En resumen, supongo que soy explorador, fotógrafo y carpintero.

My fondness for nature keeps me on a constant exploration for new trails. And for that, I get on my old but well equipped van, in which I sleep during my photo tours for four to six weeks. The biggest advantage of travelling like this is that I can sleep almost anywhere, and that means I can wake up in the middle of nature and hit the trails within minutes. Sometimes, I don't get a single photo, but the walk is almost always worth while.


When I take a photo, I rather take my time. I admire street photographers that go around like cowboys, shooting here and there while capturing wonderful moments. I'm slow. From one photo to the other can pass miles and hours.


I like to get involved in all aspects related to my work. On top of printing my photos, I also make the frames from scratch, using walnut and traditional edges.


In summary, I guess I'm an explorer, photographer and carpenter.
